In the Eroded Man series, Kim Keever presents human facial features in eroding geologic forms. I included these evocative images to explicitly discuss the notion of entropy of the self, and to introduce some of the themes present in the final section (the refusal of entropy), which investigates the human tendency to struggle against the decay of our environment.
